POSTED AT 05:24 PM came back from a day trip to Tagaytay with the entire family -- can you imagine we trekked all the way up there just to have lunch? HAHA, angkulit. thinking up crazy, wala-lang ideas runs in the family pala. i tagged along anyway because i needed the weekend getaway before i busy myself again with my work. anyhoo, dad drove us up there and i slept through most of the way (i am obviously not a morning person) -- but i did manage to wake up in time to see the hordes of flowers along the streets, the Casino with the huge crown effigy on the roof (where dad lost a couple thousand pesos hehe), and the beautiful and newly renovated Taal Vista Lodge. we didn't stay long, though -- parking costs P100 an hour. imagine that! so we rode to a nearby lodge instead, Hills View, where you could rent picnic tables to eat on. there was a view not of hills really, but the Taal Volcano (i guess Taal View has been all used up hehe) -- it was a bit fogged up though, but the spread of food on the table was real good so we sort of didn't mind. Dad's chicken adobo is always a winner. yumm ^__^ we took loads of pictures afterwards, i'll post it later on. hayy! i can't wait for vacation to breeze in so i can do these out-of-town stints more often, hehe. had a blast. until then, i will be wistfully waiting for summer. 5 popped bubbles
